Eight Short Stories

Moss Covered Rocks

Life isn’t made up of grand gestures—it’s the small, quiet moments that shape us the most. Moss Covered Rocks is a collection of short stories about women navigating love, loss, and the spaces in between. Some hold on too tightly, others learn to let go, but all of them are searching for meaning in the everyday. These stories are intimate, sometimes raw, and always honest—capturing the weight of memory, the complexity of relationships, and the quiet resilience we carry without even realizing it.

If you love stories that feel like a conversation with an old friend—real, unfiltered, and deeply human—then I think you’ll find something here that stays with you.

Hang on to It

“It’s hard to hang onto a ghost. They live in dreams, like flickering images blinking rapidly across a wide screen. Sometimes they visit an old stomping ground, the neighborhood café. They hide in a corduroy jacket left behind in the closet, separated by accident from the Good Will donation box. They are letters from decades ago, a yellowed birthday card that ends with “I love you very much”, or pictures from family vacations.
